Job Title: Iowa Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Location: Iowa (projects in Cedar Rapids)
Job Type: Contract / Project-Based
Pay: $45–$50 per hour (based on experience)
Per Diem: $115 per day (must meet requirements)
Schedule: 50–60+ hours per week with regular overtime opportunities
Project Duration: 6 months to 1+ year depending on project needs
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Traveling Journeyman Electricians for large-scale industrial and commercial projects across Iowa. These projects include data centers, manufacturing facilities, and infrastructure upgrades. Electricians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems while working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Install conduit, wire, cable trays, and electrical components
- Perform terminations, panel installations, and equipment hookups
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure code compliance
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA standards
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state reciprocal license preferred if traveling)
- Minimum 4+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics
- Must have OSHA 10 certification or higher
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation and standard electrician hand tools
Work Environment:
- Large-scale commercial and industrial construction sites
- Indoor and outdoor work depending on project phase
- Overtime available and expected during peak construction periods
