PROJECT MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION

Starting Salary: $70,000 annually
Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (DOE)
Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil, commercial, and residential construction projects in and around Winter Park, CO. This is a year-round leadership role responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through completion while ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing field teams, subcontractors, and heavy equipment operations in a mountain environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
- Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Monitor job site progress and address delays or challenges proactively.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to ownership.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 3–7+ years of construction project management experience (civil or commercial preferred).
- Strong understanding of excavation, site work, utilities, and heavy equipment operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Schedule:
