Position: Pipefitter

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 45–55 hours per week, including some Saturdays

Industry: Commercial & Industrial Construction

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to support commercial and industrial construction projects in the Indianapolis, IN area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Cut, thread, fit, and assemble pipe materials with precision.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot piping systems.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, and copper.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a related trade.
• Strong understanding of pipefitting methods, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Pipefitting or related trade certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
• Current OSHA certification required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
