Construction Laborer

Location: Abilene, TX 79605

Pay: $20–$22 per hour

Per Diem: $115

Schedule: 50-60 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Construction Laborers to join our team in Abilene, TX. This role will support commercial construction projects, assisting skilled trades such as ironworkers and welders while performing general labor duties on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Assist ironworker and welder journeymen with daily tasks
• Perform general labor on commercial construction sites
• Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Prior construction experience required
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Must have own tools and proper PPE
• Must be able to pass a work physical
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
