Position: Concrete Former / Finisher

Location: Miami, Florida

Pay: $28–$32 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | 40–50 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Concrete Formers/Finishers for commercial and industrial construction projects in the Miami, FL area. This role involves building and setting concrete forms, placing concrete, and finishing surfaces to specified grades and textures. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in all phases of concrete work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set, align, and secure concrete forms for slabs, walls, curbs, and foundations.
• Place, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power screeds.
• Finish concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, and other finishing tools to achieve required textures and tolerances.
• Apply curing compounds and protective sealers as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Install rebar and reinforcement materials as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in concrete forming and finishing.
• Proficient in form systems, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are required
