Welder Must test on 2" Sch 40 316 stainless

We are seeking experienced Industrial Pipe Welders for a project involving 316 stainless steel process piping from 1/4" to 1-1/2". The ideal candidate will have strong TIG welding experience and be comfortable producing high-quality welds on small-diameter stainless pipe, primarily socket welds.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld 316 stainless steel pipe from 1/4" to 1-1/2"
• Weld process piping and tubing to project specifications
• Perform high-quality, clean welds with consistent penetration
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, weld symbols, and piping layouts
• Work closely with pipefitters to ensure proper fit-up and alignment
• Perform root, fill, and cap passes as required
• Maintain proper heat control when welding stainless steel
• Inspect welds and make repairs as necessary
• Maintain welding equipment and a clean work area
• Follow all OSHA and project-specific safety requirements

Qualifications

• Previous industrial pipe welding experience
• Strong TIG welding experience on 316 stainless steel
• Experience welding 1/4"–1-1/2" pipe
• Ability to read and understand pipe isometrics and weld symbols
• Experience with stainless process piping preferred
• Ability to consistently produce quality, code-compliant welds
• Must be able to pass a stainless steel pipe weld test
• Experience with purge welding is highly preferred
• Ability to work closely with pipefitters and other trades
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
