We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate a 160-ton Kobelco lattice boom crawler crane.

The crane is configured with a 160' main boom and 40' fixed jib. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating lattice boom crawler cranes and safely performing heavy lifts in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 160-ton Kobelco lattice boom crawler crane
• Operate with 160' main boom + 40' fixed jib configuration
• Perform heavy lifts, structural steel placement, equipment setting, and other critical lifts
• Follow load charts, lift plans, and manufacturer operating procedures
• Conduct daily crane inspections and complete required documentation
• Work closely with riggers, signalpersons, foremen, and project supervision
• Verify load weights, rigging configurations, clearances, and ground conditions
• Safely position and move loads according to established lift plans
• Monitor crane performance and immediately report mechanical or safety concerns
• Maintain safe operating distances around personnel, structures, power lines, and other equipment
• Follow OSHA, site-specific, and company safety requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating lattice boom crawler cranes
• Experience operating 160-ton-class cranes preferred
• Experience with Kobelco equipment is a strong plus
• Comfortable operating with long boom and fixed jib configurations
• Ability to read and understand crane load charts and lift plans
• Strong knowledge of crane setup, capacity, radius, and operating limitations
• NCCCO LAT designation
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of rigging and signaling practices
• Excellent safety record and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass a drug screen and site-specific requirements
