Crane Operator (100-Ton Rough Terrain Crane)
Location: Sloatsburg, New York 10974
Pay: $55.00/hour
Per Diem: $175/day (paid 7 days per week)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Project Duration: July 20, 2026 – October 9, 2026 (Additional work periods may be available based on project needs.)
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and certified Crane Operators to operate a Grove GRT8100 (100-ton Rough Terrain Crane) on an active construction project in Sloatsburg, NY. The selected candidate will work closely with our lifting team to safely execute engineered lift plans while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Grove GRT8100 in accordance with manufacturer specifications, OSHA regulations, and site safety requirements.
- Execute lifts according to engineered lift plans.
- Participate in pre-lift meetings and lift plan reviews.
- Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervision.
- Perform daily crane inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain safe, efficient crane operations throughout the project.
- Follow all project-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Attend required site orientation and onboarding before mobilization.
Requirements:
- Valid New York State Crane Operator Certificate of Competence (Class B – Hydraulic) or equivalent certification for operating 80–100 ton rough terrain cranes.
- Proven experience operating 100-ton rough terrain cranes, including boom configurations up to approximately 190 feet.
- Previous experience working on complex or high-activity construction sites.
- Strong understanding of lift planning, load charts, and safe rigging practices.
- Ability to actively participate in lift planning reviews and site coordination meetings.
- Reliable transportation to the project site.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Additional Information:
- Operator performance and safety compliance will be continuously monitored.
