Ironworker – Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Erector

Location: Abilene, TX

Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Per Diem: $115 per day (must meet requirements)

Hours: 55+ hours per week

Duration: Long-Term Project

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Erectors / Ironworkers for a long-term project in Abilene, TX. This role involves erecting structural steel frameworks and assembling metal building components for commercial and industrial projects. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect and install pre-engineered metal building systems
• Bolt-up and connect structural steel components
• Install wall panels, roof panels, girts, and purlins
• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
• Assist with rigging and signaling for crane operations
• Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards
• Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of PEMB or structural steel erection experience
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Experience with aerial lifts and fall protection equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• MUST have a OSAH 10 certificate or higher
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
