Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our industrial installation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel piping, primarily Schedule 10, in fabrication and field installation environments.

TESTING WILL BE IN INDIANAPOLIS, THEN THE JOB WILL BE IN MICHIGAN

$160/DAY PER DIEM

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, thread, and install stainless and carbon steel piping systems
• Perform layout, fit-up, and assembly using blueprints and isometric drawings
• Weld, groove, or flange connections per specifications
• Inspect piping systems for leaks, alignment, and code compliance
• Collaborate with welders and other trades to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintain a safe and clean work area following OSHA standards

Requirements:

• Journeyman-level pipefitting experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of stainless and carbon Schedule 10 piping
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment
• OSHA 10 or higher certification preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work overtime as needed
