Position: Ironworker

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States

Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 45–55 hours per week, with some Saturdays

In this role, you will be responsible for erecting structural steel, assembling metal buildings, and installing precast components on commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities:

• Perform ironworking tasks such as erecting structural steel, installing precast panels, and assembling metal buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for layout and installation.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components.
• Operate cranes, hoists, and related equipment to lift and position steel components.
• Install rigging and hoisting systems to support safe lifting operations.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols.
• Work closely with construction crews to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Ironworker.
• Proficiency in steel erection, metal building assembly, and rigging operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of steel construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• OSHA 10 certification or higher required.
