Position: Ironworker:

Location: Waco, Texas, United States

Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 45–55 hours per week, including some Saturdays

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Ironworkers to support commercial and industrial construction projects in the Waco, TX area. This role involves structural steel erection, metal building assembly, rigging, and related ironworking tasks. Candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ironworking duties including:
• Structural steel erection
• Metal building assembly
• Installation of precast concrete panels
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components.
• Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to position steel components safely.
• Install and inspect rigging systems and hoisting equipment.
• Maintain strict compliance with OSHA regulations and jobsite safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Ironworker.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel and metal building erection.
• Proficiency in rigging and hoisting operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Physically capable of performing demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• OSHA 10 certification or higher required.
